“From the Unknown”

This is a collection of new pieces from a show I recently launched in Austin, TX titled “From the Unknown.” I created nine new sculptures for the show from my “Little Imperfections” series, “Spirit Doll” series, and “Lotus” series. The show also includes select pieces from my series titled, “The Masquerade.” I will be posting photos as I get them done.  The show is being hosted by Art on 5th Gallery at 3005 S Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78704 and runs until June 18th, 2016.

We used to drain people of blood to cure their disease, now we fill them full of poison. The results are largely the same. We kill more than we cure, but we remain well paid and respected for it.

“We Are Ephemeral”
What is important? What will you leave behind when this ends? Because it will end. What will be your legacy? A gold watch? Five years of unused sick days? The money in your bank account? The larger sum of money in your employer’s bank account? What is important to you? Time with your family? Time with your friends? Time at the office? Time? From dust we are born, and from dust we shall return, but in between we are all given the same thing – We are all given a lifetime.
